That little fella was as bold as brass, what a little poser..I've never seen a mink that colour before, he was happily scoffing crayfish a few moments before. The photo was actually taken with my phone, I was really pleased with the way it turned out.
Gurn, I have to say I agree, only Mink I ever see are the usual black/auburn coloured, must admit I am rather suprised that picture was taken on a mobile, it is really good.
Cracking pics Gurn .....People never understand what we see when on the bank, and unless you are there you will not appreciate it!!!
I had the pleasure of watching a small group of deer last week at sunset. They were gone in the blink of an eye and could so easily of been missed . They vanished in to a coppice and turned to hazy mist .....Wonderful
Dave, the Ouzel is a difficult river at the best of times, their is a small head of quite big chub, but they are elusive. That being said, however, I am starting to think I have gone a bit rubbish of late. :-)...i'll be back for the last day.
Some absolutely beautiful pictures Gurn, Really love the last one in particular.

ReplyDeleteDare I say its a 'minky' colour. Great shots though but I do detect a lack of fish : )
