More Redmire Pool Pics

"In the heat of noonday I have cruised  in a punt upon the surface of that small fathomless pool and looked far down among waving weed cables at broad netted backs stirring there in those mysterious depths" 'B.B.' Confessions of a Carp Fisher.(1970)
"Our long vigil had begun. It continued until daybreak, and after. The sun rose deep orange, it's beams making the lake steam. Nothing moved; I was lost in a quiet world of green and grey and gold"..Richard Walker, Walker's Pitch(1959)

  1. "Monty", I did notice in the Redmire log that a Mr.Dalrymple had fished the pool this year..Any relation? I have no idea if your username is real or a psuedonym sir.

  2. Fantastic Pictures, So Serine yet in a couple they show it like the Jungle, I think it will never look the same two days in a row,

  3. Despite my previous comments, I have to say that Redmire is still a beautiful and magical place. I now want to go there. I don't know whether to thank you or curse you Gurn.

Great pictures mate, the fence in the bottom one is such an iconic image.
